Seattle-based Sironix Renewables is a manufacturer of high-performance, plant-based molecules that help industries like personal care and cleaning product manufacturing replace harsh petrochemical ingredients with solutions that are higher performing and more sustainable.
Founded in 2016 out of innovations developed at the University of Minnesota, Sironix brings together expertise in chemistry, engineering and product development to advance next-generation upcycled ingredients.

Christoph Krumm
CEO & Co-Founder
Krumm co-founded Sironix Renewables after completing his graduate work at the University of Minnesota. He received the AIChE “Top 35 Under 35 for Innovation” Award in 2017 for his contributions to renewable materials and sustainable chemistry.
Paul Dauenhauer
Co-Founder
Dauenhauer is an expert on catalysis and reaction engineering of renewable feedstocks. In addition to co-founding Sironix Renewables, he leads an academic research group focused on sustainable materials and contributes regular scientific insights that advance Sironix’s technology.
Shawn Eady
CTO
Eady brings more than a decade of chemical synthesis and catalysis experience. At Siroinix, he leads the design of eco-friendly surfactants that deliver high cleaning performance while improving the sustainability of ingredient supply chains.
Ellen Murphy
Head of R&D
Murphy has spent more than a decade in early-stage technology companies—from smart windows to next-gen batteries and now plant-based surfactants. A natural problem-solver, she focuses on turning bold concepts into commercial solutions and believes strongly in the role innovation plays in building a more sustainable future.
