Saint Paul, MN – Christoph Krumm, Co-Founder and CEO of Sironix Renewables, was recently awarded the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) 35Under35 award for 2017, which provides recognition to outstanding chemical engineers who are “changing the face of the profession”.
Dr. Krumm was awarded in the innovation category for his work toward commercializing bio-renewable chemical technologies. The award included six additional categories: bio-engineering, chemcials, education, energy, leadership, and safety. In addition to a cash prize, the awardees will be presented with a plaque at the annual AIChE meeting to be held in Minneapolis, MN in later October. All 35Under35 winners were highlighted in the August 2017 issue of Chemical Engineering Progress (CEP) Magazine, as well as online (https://www.aiche.org/resources/publications/cep/2017/august/aiche-r-35-under-35).
